BTS Captains Challenge 2009
The BTS Annual Captains Challenge Race ran on the 3rd of October. This is a fun event for teams of four triathletes Men or Women, you might even win a bottle of wine.
This year. 12 teams consist ingof four men or four women, swam early in Bray lake, before moving to the George in Holyport for a morning of running and riding.
Swim
10 or 11 laps of a 300m course in Bray Lake tagging team members after each lap. (All drive over to The George Pub in Holyport and cycle a familiarisation lap of the cycle course).
Bike
10 or 11 laps of a 3km cycle course two laps before tagging the next rider. (Staggered start based on combined swim times).
Run
10/11 laps of a mostly off road/Dirt track 1.5km run lap. (First runner goes after tag from last rider).
