Club Championships 2010

Hi all here are the details for this year’s Club Championship.

If you have been taking note of recent e-mails from Julia and the dates to keep free you will already know that this year’s Club Champs will use the F3 events midweek race at Dorny on the 8th of September.

Here is a bit more information: F3 have kindly reduced the fee for this race for BTS members to £35. The committee have also agreed to subsidise this race and will pay £20 or each BTS member who races. THAT MEANS YOU GET TO RACE FOR £15. I have been talking to Martin of F3 and he is hoping to get some really great goodie bags together and have some prizes for us. I not sure if we will have our own racking or race wave like last year as this will all be dependent on how many members we have racing.

Now for the tricky bit:
You will have to enter the race paying the full fee £45. F3 will give you £10 cash back on race night at registration. I will arrange for a £20 cheque for all those that race on the night. I know this seems a bit complicated but we had a few members drop out at the last minute last year and I still had to pay for them. If we do it this way, if you drop out at short notice, or don't start the race you get to pay the full £45. So that should be a big incentive for racing. It’s not often that you get this sort of race for £15.
